    This is an easy to moderate hike on a nice, forested trail to the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail at Springer Mountain. The grades are never steep and the footing is very good.

    Hike from the parking lot up around the rock face to the bald and down. A blowdown blocked the path so there are a couple of different cut-throughs on the way up and down.
