I hike and write about hiking. Day hiking on Long distance trails has dominated my life since I 'discovered' the Appalachian Trail (AT) in 2010. I've hiked it all, twice, in one calendar year. Since then I've hiked a number of other trails, always connecting them to the AT, so that I'm developing a web of interconnected trails. I call it my Personal Continuous Footpath (PCF). It gives me a reason to be out there. I would rather hike new trail than repeat one I've already hiked.
The goal of the PCF is to walk to every place where I've ever lived.
