This hike is part of the Oregon trail. Zig Zag falls are nice. The hike is not pleasant because it is near Rt 26, which carries a lot of traffic. Not recommended.

This is a hike I took in early August through the Mount Hood Meadows area. There are many waterfalls to see along this route including Umbrella Falls, Sahale Falls, and several running run through Heather Canyon.
Lovely stroll up above timberline. The pitch, 1000' in one mile, and altitude may be bothersome to some?
