Itinerary description
Easy trail with astonishing views of Mt. Hood and all other main peaks of the Cascades. Before getting to the viewpoint, there is a small lake where Mt Hood is mirrored.
There are limited places in the parking lot at the trailhead. There is an additional parking lot half a mile towards Goverment Camp.
The required pass can be bought in several locations. I bought mine at the Zig Zag ranger station.
