Great hike! Take lots of water! this one is a long hard climb up. Lots of boulders and scrambling going up. Not much of a path its more bouldering. AWESOME vista at the top!
Long solo paddle. South ground swell, NW wind & overcast. Challenging return leg. 1/2 of what I plan to do next weekend.

Excellent day on the water with Kevin and Tony. West wind, few bumps to ride, good distance. Surf Taco afterwards.
Finally, I did not paddle alone! Started at 10am under mostly cloudy skies. Clouds broke around 10:30 and we enjoyed sunny skies for the rest of the paddle. No gloves in February!
Strong NNW wind on the canal today. Several people out on the canal path jogging, walking and riding. Good to get out and burn off a few extra calories.
Frostbite Series Paddle #1, not bad. Super calm conditions, only webbed feet and me creating wakes. 20 degrees cooler than last Sundays paddled.
Sunny paddle on the last Sunday of November. I swam once with about 3 miles to go. No problem, I had clothes in a dry bag but didn't need them. Erik and I rode bikes back to the start.
Kristie, Dan, Greg, Erik and I paddled 4hrs on the D&R Feeder canal this afternoon. I paddled a C1. These are my tracks . The others went a bit faster :)
Two C2s on the D&R today, Erik and Dan, Greg and Jeff. Mid 40s, water temp about the same (guessing) Had to portage around three bridges due to the waters hight / low bridges.
Fun paddle out to nun buoy and back. Saw large schools of fish and dolphins. Caught two decent waves on way in.
Hard paddle in the 20+ mph winds. Went into a cove and paddled within 20 yards of a bald eagle perched on a tree out 20 feet up. The eagle didn't fly off, kept and eye one me as I did it.
Had a wood duck swim out in front of the canoe and zigzag back and forth. She was try to distract me from her to little ones. Neat.
Pro Boat trip #2 with Erik on the Batsto. My GPS batteries didn't last (again :<) We paddled up river for 4 miles then back past our put-in and spun around to make it a 10 mile run.
Started at canoe launch area and went up stream. Moderate difficulty going upstream. No blockages that required climbing over, just some fast current at some narrow points.
Cycling - Crowded boardwalk in both places, especially in Ocean City as an airshow was keeping most noses up.
Lake Audrey We went counter clockwise around lake. Nice trail. The trail died out about 3/4 of the way but we were able to get through since it was November. In the summer it may be to thick.
