Heather and I looped Mt Tammeny for the first time. Normally we go up and just come down but we felt adventurous this time. The trail maps indicate a "ruin", but it's just a cement block that wasn't worth investigate.

Fun trail. We took the red dot trail up and the blue dot trail down. The red dot trail is steep and the blue dot portion is not quite as steep. The small waterfall is on the creek near the end of the loop.

Great hike! Take lots of water! this one is a long hard climb up. Lots of boulders and scrambling going up. Not much of a path its more bouldering. AWESOME vista at the top!
Rather rigorous climb with numerous scrambles up and over large rocks. The views are entirely worth it, but definitely wear appropriate boots and be in good shape.
