Some off road running along the spruit. The only really tough hill is when you have to go up Bantam next to Delta park.

One of the tougher morning routes. I think the hills back to the garage are quite a bit steeper than our other routes in the area (it feels like it)
This route could be used for a PB as long as you keep something in reserve for the slight climbs towards the end. It gets a bit warm.
The 32km that seems to bite between 17km and 25km. Once you are over the section its more or less downhill to the finish.

All offroad. Take care in the first two km because you cover some loose ground. If the weather is clear you should get a good view of the Jhb skyline.
One of the easiest parkrun routes. The climb up to the fort is very gradual and then the last 1500m is all downhill.
One of the flatter, easier parkruns in Gauteng. Route is run mostly on paved pathways. Two almost identical 2.5km loops make up the route. If there is anything worth calling a hill then it is the bump up to the finish/s...
A less complicated route now although you get to run up the hill from the river, twice. Less dirt road running.
The newer version of the Midstream route. They moved the start and finish to be in the same area. Some off road running, but most of the route is on paving.
New parkrun event in Johannesburg. Quite hot. Oveer 700 people arrived for the event. Parking could be a problem for the future.
Some paved running and mostly on grass. Two laps. The second lap up to the rock is a bit tiring but then its almost all downhill to the finish.
This was captured via the iPhone app. A lot of the smoothing that happens when you use a gps is missing. But you get the general idea of the route and the profile.
This parkrun is on paths around the office complex. Two loops are completed in the reserve. An undulating route in a pleasant setting.
15km race route used in 2009
Nothing has changed from last year.
Pleasant undulating offroad run around the golf course.
En bus
