Nice two hour hike, went up the creek trail, and returned on the dirt road. Big parking area is about one quarter mile past where Timberline Rd pavement ends. Restroom was locked in winter.
Decent scenery, aspens would be beautiful in the fall. Good views of Mt Rose and Snowflower along the way. Great accessibility for Reno area.
