    We did this hike with not so great weather and found it difficult. Most of the track is along the ridge so it's very exposed. But in low wind and a sunny day it would be fantastic. Bring windproofs!

    We climbed to the top of Mount Arthur (1795 m) to see panoramic views, in February 2020. It took us 3.5 h to climb to the top and 2.5 h to go down. It wasn’t hard, but you have to prepare for a long hike.

    Really pleasant walk in Golden Bay. I suggest that you do it anti-clockwise as we did. Much of the track is beside a little waterway - keep an eye out for the native koura/crayfish that live in it.
