Itinerary description
An easy walk from the saddle of the Puponga to Wharariki Beach Road to the ridge and along to the summit of the Old Man Range.
Note - You can continue down to the Farm below and around back onto the Wharariki Beach Road to make it a loop walk. The farm is managed by the NZ Conservation Department and walkers are welcome.
There is car parking at the start of the track I have drawn. Apologies as I did not have my GPS with me it's not as accurate as I like, however it's a well worn track so you shouldn't get lost! Yje track is a litte rough in places so wear shoes. Check out the trail posted by 'poolmanager' if considering making this a loop walk.
