I made a loop, up through the fire road (easier), coming down through the Appalachian trail (more challenging). Fully shady. Amazing views and knob.
5.0We went up through the classic way and came back by the fire road. Note that we got lost around the Campbell shelter till we found the fire road.
Such an amazing trail... Following the AT.... 3 campsites, Amazing view on the knob.
