The classic ride around Torch is about 45.5 miles. I added about 10 miles to get some hills in. The Cottage and Clam Lake Roads are nice, and mostly shaded, so good to ride on warm days.
Nine miles W. of Petoskey on Mitchell Street. There are other enteries I will update as well as two intersecting trails. There are a few steep turn-outs for added challenges. Currently track groomed by the Michigan DNR
Flight with Denise & Michael B and Bryan to Coldwater for breakfast. Stop in Kalamazoo for fuel (KBIV-KOEB-KAZO-KBIV)
Not recommended as there are very limited hiking opportunities PS from 2024: There are far more hiking opportunities, but also several "no trespassing" signs!

The Pottawattamie trail from Wieman Drive to Crooked Lake using the shortcut bypass. It requires a little bushwhacking to get all the way to the Crooked Lake dam.
