It was very beautiful with a thin layer of snow on the ground and very very light flurries. Some spots looked slippery, but weren't. 21ºF/-6℃.

West entrance into the McCormick Tract Wilderness Area. 9.2 miles north of US 41 on Co. Rd. 607 which is between Michigamme and Champion Michigan just west of the Peshekee River US 41 bridge.
