    This starts from the west trailhead on the Backbone Trail, and goes for 2 miles to the High Ridge junction. From there it's an in and out to the end of the High Ridge and back to the trailhead of the Backbone Trail.

    This was my first trail. Light Hills and nice forest make this one a favorite. Good camping spots.

    Backbone trail and the 2.5 miles of roadway to return to starting trailhead.

    Nice hike for louisians. Some water crossing, up and down hills, good parking area. I'll go back.
