Itinerary description
This starts from the west trailhead on the Backbone Trail, and goes for 2 miles to the High Ridge junction. From there it's an in and out to the end of the High Ridge and back to the trailhead of the Backbone Trail.

This was my first trail. Light Hills and nice forest make this one a favorite. Good camping spots.
