Amacing walk
A fantastic day with sunny skies. After extremely heavy rain last night when I thought the roof would fall in I woke up to sunshine. The trail was very muddy and slippery from the rain.
Gokyo Lakes (+ Gokyo Ri) & Everest Base Camp (+ Kalapatthar). Unable to do the Cho La Pass, path was blocked due to the snow, so we made a detour through Phortse.
Start from Lukla to Gokyo Lakes, Hike Gokyo Ri then to Everest Base Camp via Chola Pass and Hike Kala Patthar. After all this go to climb Island Peak and finally back to Lukla.
