Itinerary description
This is part elleven from a series of 15 track's showing an a magnicifiant trekking tour we had in October 2017 from Lukla up to Gokyo Lakes (4.750m elevation) and Gokyo Ri (5.360m). From there we did follow the path up and over Cho La Pass (5.375m) and all the way up to Everest Base Camp (+/- 5.350m) on the twelfth day.
After one night sleep in Gorak Shep (5.180m), the world's highest village I think, we headed straight down to Lukla in three long days. This trekking group was made of 18 friends and hikers from Iceland and a great team of locals, including six guides and nine porters.
This day we had a pretty beautiful and easy hike to Lobuche where we hit again the main track to Everest Base Camp after the amazing dtour to Gokyo Lakes and Cho La Pass
