Hard paddle in the 20+ mph winds. Went into a cove and paddled within 20 yards of a bald eagle perched on a tree out 20 feet up. The eagle didn't fly off, kept and eye one me as I did it.
Had a wood duck swim out in front of the canoe and zigzag back and forth. She was try to distract me from her to little ones. Neat.
Pro Boat trip #2 with Erik on the Batsto. My GPS batteries didn't last (again :<) We paddled up river for 4 miles then back past our put-in and spun around to make it a 10 mile run.
Started at canoe launch area and went up stream. Moderate difficulty going upstream. No blockages that required climbing over, just some fast current at some narrow points.

3 days after heavy rain. Upstream was moderate except when crossing beaver dam by high tension wires. Saw wood duck in a man made house. Stopped by trees blocking stream.
Went down river towards I-95 bridge to start. Turned around before it got to shallow and chugged up river.
River was moving fast this morning after all the rain over night. GPS didn't pick up satellites at the start. Wind made the piece interesting too.
Just another training paddle before work on the Delaware. Great start to the day. 3 fishermen were at the put-in. Paddled down river then made my turn just before Scudders Falls.
The Trenton Works bridge was in sight but I had to turn around so wouldn't be late to see my kids off at the bus stop.
48.8 miles, 38 of it was a downwind joy ride. Strong South wind and swell.
Started at Lake Oswego and paddled down stream for a few miles. Return trip was tough.

Cross training, paddling followed by cycling. I didn't make it back to the start due to a flat tire.
