    This is a nice little lake for a fun afternoon. Plenty of birds to check out, Heron, Grebes Ducks etc. About a 200yd walk from the parking lot to the staging area. (Zoom in on map)

    Nice, but off and on sprinkles. Lovely rivery-lake or lakie-river paddle. Lots of lake here, we only visited about a 1/3 of it.

    Lots to see while paddling thru the Chatham Islands. We were at a medium tide but currents were quite strong. Camping on Discovery Island is $5/person/night.

    Nice big Lake... very calm. Saw many birds and spotted a beaver swimming. Lots of green algae in this lake.

    Great paddle around he Lagoon at high tide. Makes for much easier access into the Lagoon and thru the shallower spots. Note that our put in and take out was from DND property and is restricted.
