    Fun and easy walk with dog and 9yo. Did not go all the way to the top because of the dog since there is a bit of climbing there.

    Kerhólakampur, upp on the east trail, down on the west. The trail up and down the cliffs is easier on the west side in my view. Quite steep for a while but there is a chain there to help. Views are amazing.

    Nice hike to the top of Mount Esja, well signed. At Stein you can climb to the top, a bit technical, but if you're up for it, worth it on a clear day. Large parking lot at the bottom and a bus stop as well.
