Itinerary description
This trail starts and ends close to the farm Stardalur. It leads to a beautiful waterfall in the river Leirvogsá. The trail is optimal for a short hike close to the city. Despite it's proximity to the city, not many people go there, so one can easily be there and enjoy solitude and nature.
Spectacular basalt column formations can be seen in the rocky hills north of the trail. This trail is suitible for all seasons, for hiking, running or by cross country skiing in the winter.
