    Started early at 6:00am with a clear sky, no wind and mild temp and was expecting to meet many people but I completed the loop alone. Great run, magnificent views and also small creeks with clear icelandic water.

    Morning climb up Aurar ridge above the Eyjólfstaðarskóg. Beautiful views of the valley. Not much speed due to terrain. Took a small round on the red marked track on the way down.

    Nice route mostly on dirt road along Grímsá and the Barley fields of Vallanes. Took a tricky shortcut through the patch of forest. Had to cross some very wet grassland and a stream there.
