This is a nice relaxing walk along the Thames to the weir that is near Wallingford, on the return path we passed through the Wallingford Castle meadows. There are also some WW2 concrete gun positions to see.
Glorious walk following short sections of the Thames Path and The Ridgeway. Beautiful riverside green tracks partially marred by a drab suburban style golf course on England's green and pleasant land
Saw lots of bikes/cyclists outside the Cherry Tree Inn so I cashed in for a recce but they were only serving coffee. Stopped at the Waterfront, Benson, fire a bacon & egg roll.
A lovely ride along the Ridgeway followed by a steep road climb up the "Kop" which is used for the annual hill climb competition. There's a fantastic forest descent into Wendover.
