Quite a climb up but well worth it for the views. As every on the moors, the weather can change dramatically as you climb. Nice diversion through the woods on the way back, or carry on down back to starting point.
Quite a steep climb in parts but all on good tracks. Can get quite cold as you start climbing so wrap up well!
Lovely walk around the gritstone edges above Dovestone reservoir near Greenfield. The path across the dam at Yeoman Hey reservoir was closed so needed to walk around Dovestone reservoir to continue the walk.
