A steep ascent at the start through the village of Corumbela, but otherwise a fairly easy stroll with fantastic views towards the mountains and various white villages of the Axarquia.
Views to la maroma, Cómpeta, albaida and if you want to visit Archez, it 30 minutes downhill (of course returning to the trail means 2 km uphill!)

Good alternative to drive to the coast. It is a good track, nice views. You save about 10 minutes (not passing Archez)
