Very interesting paddle to Discovery Island. Great launch location. Potential for very strong currents. Lots of seals, bald eagles and hawks.
Lots to see while paddling thru the Chatham Islands. We were at a medium tide but currents were quite strong. Camping on Discovery Island is $5/person/night.
