Dairy pool launch to Dales launch. 9km, Took 1 hour and 25 min, water was warm and current was pretty fast.
Long Day! Ugly bushwack from Little Peters to col between Caribou and Slate, nice travel from there. Wanted to return over the N side of Slate but the clouds and snow rolled in and I lost my views so took the safe route ...
My longest day hike yet! Rain and snow. Good thing for trails most of the way. Order is an easy scramble. I got lost in the clouds in couple of times and even thought I was on a different peak altogether.
the trail takes you to the Peter's lakes, some trail beyond there and then you are all on your own. endless hiking and berries. Odin (S. monashee's highest peak) wasn't technical, just far away.
