Nice loop. At the beginning the deep channel fades into shallow sand bars. You need to check the tide charts and pick your way through. The rest of the route follows deep channels and easy to follow.

Need to follow the channel on low tide. do not cut over to soon at the beginning. Great small mangrove islands on the back side of Ras al Ghurab. Nice beaches at the mangroves below R al G.
Just a quick paddle out to the sand flats. If the tide is high enough and allows access to the sand bars it is a good place to view sting rays. I have seen up to 6-8 on a good day.
