Need to follow the channel on low tide. do not cut over to soon at the beginning. Great small mangrove islands on the back side of Ras al Ghurab. Nice beaches at the mangroves below R al G.

Just a quick paddle out to the sand flats. If the tide is high enough and allows access to the sand bars it is a good place to view sting rays. I have seen up to 6-8 on a good day.

I started the recording on the way back. Distance was about 10km. Easy and 2 liters of water are enough. Make sure to start early to avoid the heat. Take your own kayak.
