Beautiful red rocks along the way, especially the first part (when going clockwise). Ash canyon had some good scrambling. No shade asking the way. Trail had not been busy besides the area around the parking lots
This hike consists of hiking the back side up and over to Guardian Angel, then adding a Twist...a dead end overlook slot (nice view at the end) and a slot that takes you down to the wash.

Very pretty hike in the Red Rock area. This trail might be considered difficult by some depends on the speed and optional rock climbing.

Note trail is not yet fully connected at far west end. Hiking poles and some steep terrain make the connection. Subtract 2 miles if hiking from Lake Mead Blvd instead of reverence park.

Trail system in excellent condition, very little trash except on north side. All junk cars have been removed.

First 4 km walking, then we ask for a ride because sun was about to hide. Last four km were in te car (forgot to stop de recording :/) Amazing hike
Red Canyon loop starting at calico basin. Very good hike with Nice views. Be careful that the second half is very streneous with a lot of climbing. Enjoy
Short hike on trail from the Visitors Entrance (Red Rock Canyon) to Calico I. Then we hiked down into the canyon to the wash at the bottom, scrambling (Class III) along the way. Along the wash and back up on trail to mee...
The hike begins with what the locals call "Hell Hill," and then it pretty much all downhill and flat (with very minor scrambling at a few places). There are amazing rock colors throughout. Keep an eye out for climbers!
Long walks, some small valleys, lots of uphill climbing at the beginning. Amazing rocks and views at the end.
Toughest hike yet for this old lady.... a real accomplishment!

Parked in gravel lot above the retention basin. Followed obvious path north until we ran into dirt road. Followed the dirt road the rest of the way. Easy to find. This path is in reverse. This plot is from our way back.
