Itinerary description
The hike starts in Calico Basin at the Red Springs parking lot . From Red Springs we head towards 5 Stop Hill and go over it into Gateway Canyon. After going up Gateway Canyon for a ways we turn and go into Rattle Snake Canyon. Out of Rattle Snake Canyon we head towards Sandstone Quarry. After taking a snack break at Sandstone Quarry we will continue down along Calico I and Calico II and eventually loop back around to head towards Red Springs. This is a fairly strenuous hike with a lot of up and down but the trail is fairly good most of the way.
