Start from the hostel. The bottom cattle grid. Walk up the drive turn left on the team road. Lathe way to Talybont along the canal. Over the loft bridge up the road onto the footpath on the left across the farmers field....

Hostel to end reservoir and back. Path along shore bit overgrown so best do this when dry but mainly fern grasses so you can brush through. Some nice stopping points by water for a picnic ana hide.

Easy trail from the village of Talybont. Varied with a bit of forest, bit of hill and bit of canal. Very enjoyable.

Walk back from Talybont on Usk on the canal.
Follow right path at the 10.33km. There is no footpath if you stay left side.
