Two waterfalls on route would change route after first pub stop as we walked on road to Elderwater . Would take public footpath next time that leaves back of little langdale
Not every day do you feel the need to do all the big hills, sometimes it’s nice to take it easy, we took it very easy. It’s impossible to get lost in this trail, all good surfaces which would be good in or after wet weat...
Icy and treacherous ascent and descent over Wansfell Pike. Views are stunning so it’s worth it. Best to do in Summer and not November around 0c! A moderate trail that’s difficult / treacherous when icy.
