Beautiful hike over Minas Victoria pass (13,500 ft), amazing views all around. Trail more rocky above Maizal and less mud. Easy hike from the pass down to Yanama. Snow covered peaks all around.
Good hike to do when first arrive in huaraz to acclimated. Nice views of valley. My gps was playing up at the start but just follow the trail up the hill.
I started at 6:00. I took the easier way the first day sleeping in the oasis and the second i walked Up the harder part. On this way nobody asked me to pay the ticket.
