Logan’s is a fun climb up, but just make sure you’re confident with exposed scrambling because there is some involved.

Up Logans mostly the usual way. At The Notch (or second notch?) head North to bypass the final scramble to the top.
Strong head for heights required during the razorback section and 1 of the top cliff sections. Refer to linked wiloc for detailed instructions on mezzanine ascent https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/mezzanine-ridge-...

Rum Jungle via South Ridge. We took a wrong turn initially so ignore where we doubled back. Instead, when you start, take the fire trail uphill towards cronan creek falls. The south ridge track up the mountain will come...
Coming down West Peak to Savages is tricky, I used a rope as I was unsure of the path down and after three different attempts I just gave in and used my rope. From the bottom looking up I could see a better path but it’s...
Start and end at Yellowpinch Merged track From June 2023 (M&N): Yellowpinch to summit ~670m ascent, ~3hrs 20 min, ~6.75km Then go about ~3km along Ernest summit ridge. Initially down ~220m off summit (to altitude of ...

What a day. Tough hike. Beautiful Ridge up north with multiple exposed areas. Great rock for climbing/scrambling and endless views. Then a walk up to south east and down Logans. Never enjoyable for me, logans is exposed...
Up Logans Ridge and down SE Ridge. Stats: ~3hrs 5 minutes to summit - windy and cold. 30 minutes lunch on top, ~2.5 hrs down SE ridge.
Going to put difficult on this one as was done in the rain. Quite a mission and test of indomitable spirit to stay composed on the slippery rock etc. loved it though.
Take the trail up to yellowpinch lookout but return off trail down the steep slope and rock hop along the creek

Up savages to west and on to east peak and down to north and down north ridge.we took the scramble option at every opportunity so if following would need good ability on rock
5.5 hours to East Peak - slower than it would realistically take fitter individuals. 30 minutes down to rum jungle, slow because of moisture. Forgot to turn off tracking at camp so it ran longer than it really took.
challenging hike up north ridge over to the summit then down logan’s, scrambling experience and a good level of fitness needed for this one. Not advised to do in wet or after heavy rain..
Scrubby with very bad rock on the bottom half… something to do if you have done mez and Logan’s and want a new challenge … finished at joining of SE proper
We aborted at 870m in elevation due to some open rock climbs, but keen to come back for a second attempt 😄 We started at Yellow Pinch. This map will take you to the old trail head near Barney Lodges. There is a new tra...
