I am now 62. Have been enjoying 45+ years of outdoor activities: hiking, trekking, hill-walking, just walking. After turning 50, I also got into running & cycling. My beat has been Sahyadris and Himalayas (Ladakh, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Nepal, Sikkim, Bhutan, Arunachal), but also during my travel explored Alps. Tour Du Mont Blanc covering France, Switzerland and Italy; Italian Dolomites (Alta Via 1 trail starting near Italy / Austrian border, Yosemiti, Grand Canyon & Appalachian trails in US, Snowdon in Wales and Ben Nevis in Scotland, Caucasus ranges of Georgia - Svaneti, Kazbegi, Adjara & Borjomi, Mt. Kinabalu in the Sabah province of Malaysia, Dragon's back trail in Hong Kong, many high peaks in the Niligiris and Western Ghats in South India, coastal walks of Maharashtra and Goa and cycling across different parts of India, Georgia, Nepal and Europe. After turning 60, I also learnt basic skiing at Gulmarg and completed Manali-Leh cycling expedition.

Have run 4 full marathons and several half marathons since 2013. The last was a full marathon at TMM 2023 Mumbai.
