Long in the tooth, short in the hair, mountain bike rider and trail blazer. Used to compete in Ecuador, where I lived in Cuenca (Andes) for many years.
Still take part in annual Tour del Sufrimiento, a 3-day endurance ride in central mountains in Dominican Republic the last week of January. Last year came first with my partner in Duo Master C, and would have come second this year had my partner not got sick and had to abandon the race. I still arrived solo in second place, but that does not count.
Enjoy finding new trails. Speciality: single track technical downhill.
Enjoy open water swimming and trail running (mainly in Cabo de Gata, near Almeria, Andalusia, Spain)
