(A) I like to hike long routes that don't require equipment for camping or cooking. From hotel to hotel, mountain huts with service, etc. At home in Europe or traveling in places where I can practice languages that I only now at beginner level.
Since 2019 I record GPS tracks on such journeys. You can find them in my Wikiloc lists.

(B) My local language is Catalan, my native language is German. Living in Barcelona without a car, I often do day trips from there by train. Usually I only publish my routes if I think they are different from what others already published in Wikiloc. Many of my day hikes in Catalonia are repetitions of well known routes.

The routes in my Wikiloc list "BCN 2022 radi 4 dies" are not(!) especially nice. They connect Barcelona with cities at 4 days walking distance. I did them separately, returning to Barcelona by train after each 1-day-walk.

(C) Before Wikiloc, without Smartphone or GPS. I would have recorded and uploaded to Wikiloc the following walks if the technology had been available to me:

2009-2010, about July to May.
From the Indus (India, Ladakh, Leh) to the Ganges (India, Uttarakhand, Haridwar), then in Japan from Choshi to Iwate (Hokui 40 Do Park, 北緯40度公園) and from the Kii Peninsula (Pacific, Kumano Kodo Trail) to Tsuruga (Sea of Japan). These 3 walks cover all latitudes from 30N to 40N.

2004(?) Spain, Almeria - Mulhacén - Granada (with bivouac equipment).

1994 Italy, from Firenze to L'Acquila (with camping equipment).
