Chanlibel Family of Mountaineers was created in 2015 of single mountaineers who share very close ideas and insights into the supreme philosophy of mountains and mountaineering. Located in Maragha, we seek to discover new trails and experience new regions to tear off out of the old repetitive gotten-used-to tracks and mark new paths both within and without.
Chanlibel originally an Azerbaijani Turkish term means a misty and fog-enshrouded mountain at the middle which historically was a fortress inhabited by Koroghlu the champion of Azerbaijani epic by the same name.
