I live in Boise, Idaho USA and trail run in the nearby foothills, but only post routes that are outside of my home area. In early May of 2018 my wife and I lost our very special trail running buddy, Colter, a black Labrador, to a sudden enlargement of his heart. He was only just barely six years old and in the prime of his life. I still think of Colter everyday, and feel his presence alongside me when I start to run up a trail. Now we have a new furry friend, Cody, a GSP who is still getting accustom to trail running, as I am much more cautious these days about the ever increasing number of Boise area mountain bikers racing around blind corners. In his second season of upland bird hunting, Cody has really honed his pointing instincts. Chukar hunting being a new and challenging sport for us; sorry, definitely no hunting routes posted here.
