Montaione has probabely the best and longest network of trails for hiking and MTB of all the Florence and Chianti area. On this site you can find the descriptions, the maps and the GPS files for the 6 trails organized by the Municipality of Montaione and mantanined by a team of nearly 100 volunteers. All trails are inside private properties. You are welcome to use the trails following the red-and-white signs you find on the paths or following the official GPS tracks provided by this site (please no motor-bikes or quads).
