Itinerary description
The last day of my 4-week China walk was "19Xina 27YZ to Xiwan 西万", Wikiloc ID = 35912287
A man from the English school acompanied me to the roundabout at the end of that track. There is a small waiting room for the bus, wich plies the line 紫陵 - 焦作.
The bus entered Jiaozuo on the very very long Renmin Rd, coming from the west. I switch on the GPS recording when the bus turned north. The bus clerk knew I wanted to go to Zhenzhou and hand told me (also in writing, photo) to take the traint, not a bus. She made me alight at km 3.2 of this track (photo, bus stop). From there I turned right into the street that leads south to the station and had lunch on the way.
At the station I was afraid trains would be full on the 1st of May Holiday. At the ticket counter information table (photo), I saw trains to Zhengzhou 郑州 and only understoud the 1st and 2nd class columns which said 0 capacity. I was afraid the column with available capacity would be something special (students, military or whatever), but it turned out it meant "no seat reservation ". This train was more empty than full (photo), but then in Zhengzhou there were long queues at the underground/subway ticket machines.
