    Beautiful day up on the Carter Range. Several feet of snow pack allowed us to get above the tops of trees and get views one does not see the rest of the year.

    Hike/Snowshoe from Rt 16 up to Carter Dome on 3-27-2011. Trail was mostly broken out except the last mile or so. Wind was strong much of the trail near the top was obscured at best.
