Joe Pool Lake has some of the clearest waters in the DFW area. The hilly topo of the area always seems to create a wonderful convection of air over the lake.

Second sail on Lake Conroe, first successful one! Had a lot of wind. At one point before I put in a reef, I surfed down a couple of waves and went over 6 knots!
Sailing by myself on Lake Woodlands. Tried pulling the centerboard up when sailing downwind today... did seem to sail a bit faster.

Went for a nice sail after work. Sailed by myself for a bit, then swung back to the dock and picked up Scott.
First solo sail with Foamfollower. Was rough getting away from the dock the first time, second time went much smoother.

4th sail on Foamfollower, with Amy aboard. Finally shook out the reefs on this one when the wind died down.
Forecast said there would be wind. Forecast lied. Paddled back to the dock using a baseball cap found floating in the lake.
So, let this be a lesson to you... when the forecast is for winds around 5mph, and it's a nice sunny day, DON'T GO. I spent a lot of time bobbing around with no wind at all, and lots of power boat wakes.
