Scenic relativly flat except for the tough hill climb on the back end. It must be said that over 80% of the route is farm or dirt road. Soft sand is common. Tough for a 21km but fun.
A bit hot and no shade on the route. I don't know what everyone has always raved about. Waterpoints good.
A beautiful run alongside the coast from Camps Bay to Hout Bay and back. A big climb to get out of Hout Bay.

A pleasant half marathon around Leisure Isle and then up to the top of one of the Heads. Worth a trip to Knysnsa.
A pleasant parkrun through the farms and forest. Some narrow single track for a short distance, but mostly on farm road. A bit of a climb but it is followed by a downhill. Views of Table Mountain.
A fairly flat parkrun around the stadium. Lots of loops. Apparently they have a new route planned for the new year. Watch your step and it gets a bit muddy when it has been raining.
A lovely route through the leafy suburb of Forest Hills - relatively flat considering the area. A very enjoyable route - highly recomended.
Chilly morning. Lots of twisting and turning on this route with some minor bumps along the route. Well organised.
A half marathon in the Kruger National Park. Run on some tar as well as off road through the African bush. Rangers guard the route. The race starts late, at 08:30am, so you can do a game drive before the event.
A run around a vegetable farm. Fairly easy. Lots of space to overtake as you run mainly on farm roads.
On grass with some undulating track on the section out and back to the big tree. Watch your footing. A fairly flat easy parkrun.
With a start in Ballito and follow the M4 to Kings Park stadium just of Durban's beach front. Mostly a flat course with glimpses of the sea as you head towards Durban.
Lost the first part of the route. The part with the "minor" hills. A tough run especially in the second half.
Dirt road for most of the race. Second half is mainly flat and downhill. The climb to the turning point is not that bad. The scenery is amazing! A race worth doing.
The first two km are on dirt road but the rest is on the paved pathways. If you get a good start then you could try for a PB at this parkrun. A very gradual climb from about halfway to the finish.
Mix and match of short trails in the reserve. We took it slow and easy because after the rain there was lots to look at. Beautiful!

The killer hill that you have to do twice makes this one of the tougher parkruns. Look out for the animals.
Not so easy, gravel road but the constant view over the river into the KNP makes it all worthwhile! Well organised race!
Race held by Bert Bricks Athletic Club. One of the easiest half marathon routes. Carry a brick from the halfway point, at the brickfield, back to the finish and you get a 6 pack of beer. Not the easiest thing to do!
A slight change to the start and finish of this race, since the last time I ran it. Well organised and worth the trip.
Not too difficult.Run mostly over a mowed grass path around the sports fields. Two laps with a slight uphill at the end of each lap.
New route from Eersterust stadium. With a few hills. I saw 3 that were named. Killing me softly hill. Helpmekaar hill. The last little climb to the finish was called Going nowhere slowly hill. Great organization!
