Great run in the country. Water points are excellent. Worth the drive from Jhb.
Good run in the rain. Enjoy the waterpoints 2km apart as you can see your next mark to run to.

Late start,hot & long. Tough one, but its done!
One of the easier marathons to do to improve your Comrades or Two Oceans seeding.
Nobody told me Chapmans Peak was on the dirt road. Nausea and 40 degree heat did not help.
A deceptive race because it is not all downhill. The humidity and heat also take its toll.
Out and back along the road to Leandra. The first and last few kms are through the suburbs.
Great run in the country on a quiet road from Volksrust to Vrede. Great waterpoints. Huge medal!
We did better than expected! Very misty.
Not the most scenic route through Middelburg. The gravel section is a bit of a slog.
Tough uphill for 10.5km then a long downhill to the finish.
In and around the Riverside comples including a section through the Lowveld botanical gardens.
