We somehow managed to get to a trailhead this warm February, and had an incredible time just wandering off-trail (who could see a trail?) to Lemei Rock.
A great place for camping and hiking. Just don't go too early in the season, or the mosquitoes will be overjoyed!

Relatively easy hike to a beautiful lake in the Indian Heaven wilderness. There are many lakes, ponds, and alpine meadows along the way. In late August you can pick wild blueberries and huckleberries.
