Easy hike, but very nice to get out for a little bit 53 degrees out free parking and allows dogs( some dogs on trail not friendly)
Nice easy hike little muddy in spots due to recent rain and breaking cobwebs on a few trails(must have been only one on for a day or so) always a good time with the dog. 43 degrees
Start at city park parking. Follow paved path upstream 1.5 miles, left on dirt Blue Bike trail 100 yards, right uphill on Blue Bike trail 100 yards. Very easy trail.

A short nature trail at Dreher Island State Park - great views of the lake, and the remains of the old homesite of Billy Dreher who donated the land for this state park.
The park charges $6 dollars, I was not able to get in ‘cos I usually do mot carry money when running... si the route is around the park.
