Doudy Draw was opened to Mnt Bikes this year. It has a short climb up to the top of the Mesa and then a nice short single track down. Here the trail is linked up to the Community Ditch trail to make a loop.
Just sort of wandering around this area, looking for first flowers (very few), and birds - the Mountain Bluebirds are back.
An easy loop looking for early wildflowers, which are few owing to parched conditions. Did spot a nervous-looking coyote who appeared to be running from something - s/he kept looking back then continuing to run off.

This is a mountain bike ride following the outer trails of Grand Mesa. It includes the Spring Brook trail and Doudy Draw.
Nice easy loop on mostly flat terrain. This loop incorporates several trails in this area. The absolute elevations are way off, my GPS needed calibration.
