Vary varied walk in great weather at a time when nature beginning its autumn spectacular. Fairly undulating!

Lovely hike through the valley and up the mountain to the derelict castle and back down and along the canal
Great walk with trees in autumn colours. 360 views on approach to Ponderosa. Closed footpath meant diversion which could be avoided by continuing along road just after start of walk.
